Your Journey
Day 1
Arrival & Drive to Kandy
Arrive at CMB Airport and meet your private chauffeur/driver.
Drive through scenic countryside dotted with paddy fields, small villages, and lush hills.
Stroll around Kandy Lake or visit the vibrant local markets in the evening.
Day 2
Transfer to Adam’s Peak Base
After breakfast, depart Kandy for Hatton or Nallathanniya, the ideal overnight base for Adam’s Peak.
Arrive early afternoon to rest, nap, and have a light meal to prepare for the night climb. This ensures you are refreshed for the physically demanding ascent starting around 1:30–2:00 AM.
Short walk around the village to acclimate or enjoy local highland tea and light refreshments.
Day 3
Adam’s Peak Sunrise Trek & Transfer
Begin the ascent of Adam’s Peak (approx 1:30-2:00 AM). Trek through lantern-lit steps, stopping at rest points along the trail. Reach the summit 30–45 minutes before sunrise to experience the iconic views, shadows, and misty highland panorama.
After sunrise, descend to the base, enjoy breakfast, and rest briefly. Then transfer to a lodge near Horton Plains / Nuwara Eliya.
If time permits, stop for local village interactions or a short waterfall hike en route.
Day 4
Horton Plains & World’s End Trek
Early morning transfer to Horton Plains National Park. Trek through misty grasslands and cloud forests to reach World’s End, a dramatic cliff offering panoramic views across the highlands. Visit Baker’s Falls, a secluded waterfall along the trail.
Return to the hotel to relax after the morning hike.
Day 5
Tea Plantations & Scenic Transfer to Ella
Explore working tea plantations and factories, learning the craft of Ceylon tea from plucking to tasting.
Transfer to Ella, optionally enjoying the famous scenic train ride through terraced tea estates, waterfalls, and lush valleys.
Stop to explore Nine Arch Bridge and enjoy photo opportunities.
Day 6
Ella Trek & Departure
Spend the morning trekking nearby tea estates, hidden trails, and waterfalls, or simply enjoy the serene highlands at Little Adam's Peak.
Begin your transfer back to Colombo. Reflect on the misty mornings, emerald plantations, and highland adventures as you reach CMB Airport for your onward flight.
Depart Sri Lanka.
